Dipak Nehe

I lead quality engineering: test strategy, automation frameworks and the engineers who build them. I also build apps myself. My latest is a stock analysis website with Android and iOS versions, each backed by full automated tests and CI.

Domain expertise across the EV industry, healthcare, fintech and e-learning.

10-Year Stock Value Analysis

A website and two phone apps that read 10 years of a company's SEC filings and explain them in plain English.

Demo of the stock site: looking up Coca-Cola (KO), then the at-a-glance summary, red flags, SEC history, insider trades, the Graham and Buffett checklists, charts and a comparison with Intel
Looking up Coca-Cola, then each tab of the analysis and a comparison with Intel.

The website

Look up any US-listed company and get its trends, 20+ red-flag checks, its SEC filing record, insider trades and the Graham, Buffett, Lynch and Piotroski checklists. Also: compare two stocks, a saved portfolio, an S&P 500 picker, CSV downloads, English and Spanish.

Python serverless on Vercel · strict TypeScript bundled with esbuild · SEC EDGAR data

The Android and iOS apps

Native shells around the site: Kotlin on Android, SwiftUI on iOS. They add an offline screen, watch-list notifications that open the company, and saving CSV files through the phone's share sheet.

How I test

  1. Test in layers

Fast unit tests for the rules, BDD scenarios for the business logic, end-to-end tests for what a user does, and load tests for traffic. Each layer catches what the one below can't.

  2. Page and screen objects

Tests describe what the user does; locators live in one place, so a UI change means one edit, not fifty.

  3. Accessibility is a test

Every page is scanned with axe in the same run as the functional tests, so a missing label fails the build like any other bug.

  4. Repeatable data

End-to-end tests run on saved responses, so they're quick and don't flake when a live service changes, and a separate suite checks the live site.

  5. Every push runs it

GitHub Actions and Jenkins run lint, type checks and tests on every change, with Allure reports holding screenshots and videos for each step.

  6. Load on demand

k6 API and browser tests ramp users up and down, run by hand when needed rather than on every deploy.

  7. AI as a pair, not a pilot

I use Claude and GitHub Copilot to draft tests, page objects and CI workflows faster. Every generated test is reviewed and has to fail for the right reason before it's merged.
